The EHDA (Eerste Hollandse Drakenboot Club) Regatta takes place each Fall in either Amsterdam or Rotterdam. The races bring together the best teams from the region including teams from across Holland and Germany. In 2019 they will be including the Joy Boat team from the USA for the first time! As special guests we are excited to compete on the water in The Netherlands, to discover the incredible sights of Amsterdam and to paddle with, and get to know, a local host team!

Amsterdam is a maze of canals. The most common mode of transportation is by boat and bicycle! The canals are lined with picture book buildings from centuries past and the center is full of sights you must see including the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh museum, the Anne Frank House and countless Dutch pancake shops ( a local specialty!)
